Beautiful and striking flower. Grows well in the Rio Grande Valley when frost isn't a problem. This is from a plant that almost died a few years ago from a severe ice storm.

Habitat:

Ornamental flower from Mexico and West Indies.

Notes:

Butterflies and hummingbirds love them.
