This photo was taken a week later then the last posting of the owlet. Although, you may not notice and marked changes in its appearance, it is growing larger and looking more and more like its parents.

Wow Fantastic Willie what a look!
Thanks Carol, this is the second posting of the same owl. I posted a photo the day he was chased from his nest by a bunch of pesky crows. The photos I posted showed him on the ground. A week later, I found him about 100 yards from his nest up on top of a tree trunk that had been snapped off by high winds at some point in the past. If I can find the bird in another week, I will once again post an updated photo of its development.
