Four Spotted Palpita Moth

Palpita quadristigmalis

Description:

This lepidopteran was taken during the day at about 5 p.m. My wife did a search for this moth and came up with this ID. The literature on the web also says that some of the four spotted palpita moths lack spots. The leaf is a hibiscus on the shady side of the house.
