Chrysemys picta picta
A shiny, green to brown top shell, with red to orange rings along the outer edge and sometimes a stripe up the middle of the shell starting at the back usually running only part way up, the bottom shell is a cream color, the markings on the head and legs are lines of red orange and yellow

I found this old girl trying to cross route 11 in Cicero NY (a 4 lane sub highway), she will be re-located to a protected Cornell pond with lake access.

This one is of the Eastern subspecies Chrysemys picta picta. Nice looking turtle!
