Jasminum Sambac
Pikake is the hawaiian name for a jasmine, Jasmine sambac, which is one of about a dozen Jasminum species grown in Hawaii as ornamentals. It is a fragrant-flowered shrub, 2-3 feet wide and up to 6 feet tall, that is fairly hardy and drought resistant.
It has a moderate growth rate in sprinf and summer but grows slowly during cool seasons.
