Xanthoconium separans
A bolete, I believe, Medium sized with a wide stem. Firm flesh. Purplish-red cap with a white, porous underside. Purplish stem. As these mushrooms age, the pore surface turns yellow. Edible.
Temperate forest. Nolin Lake State Park, Kentucky.

Maybe something like Xanthoconium separans, not really sure though.
