I recall the habitat well and eucalypts and acacia were mixed saplings and growing into eachother. Your resting hypothesis is quite likely.

I found mine on eucalyptus - leaves probably much easier to roll into a "nidus" as in http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/916...
Do you think it was just resting on Acacia or is there another related species ??. I found one on grass.
