Description:

Annual, 6-15in. tall. Leaves are variable, from narrow near the bottom to broad and bract-like, often somewhat fiddle shaped with red spots near base, toward the top of the plant. On other plants, all leaves may be narrowly linear. Small yellow flowers mature ti 3 lobed capsule.

Habitat:

Varies from hit, dry, sun to moist shade. Better color in sun.
