Nature School For Teachers - Fall 2020 Launch!
Many of these birds were off the coast of Alcatraz around noon. I did not spot any when I went back to the dock at 3:00.
My book says they swim underwater using their wings, are silent and only come ashore to breed. They are related to Auks.
