Description:

A flat, thin sometimes papery bracket fungi which appears on rotting timber. Often there is not much of the top to see. Fans are usually orange to yellow. The underside is often far more interesting to look at where growth forms attractive 'rings' similar to the grain within wood. Fans can be 150mm wide.

Habitat:

Rotting timber. This one within very tall, wet Eucalyptus forest
