Description:

A medium-sized black wasp with multiple small creamish-white spots on thorax and abdomen. Legs were red. Wings were clear except for black pterostigmas on the fore wings. The wasp had a short black ovipositor

Habitat:

Spotted flying around a eucalyptus tree.

Notes:

The wasp injects eggs into the pupae of moths and butterflies and the wasp larvae feed on the pupating lepidopteran larva.
