Odontopus varicornis
Family : Pyrrhocoridae http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyrrhocorid... looks similar to Cenaeus carnifex, native to Africa.
You are very welcome! I took this as my personal challenge. Actually I hate not finding an ID.
Got it!! A long search finally ended up with the right one!
Pyrrhocoridae, Odontopus varicornis!
Thanks bayucca...there does seem to be a lot of confusion regarding the identification. I feel the one in the following link has the most 'votes' for being D. cingulatus.

Could be a Dysdercus, but none of the well known. Please, apologize for the adding of so many, unfortunately "useless" links, since none of them are correctly IDed. some of the ones you will find are from the same person and all IDed as Dysdercus singulatus, which is a) misspelled, it should be Dysdercus cingulatus and b) it is NOT Dysdercus cingulatus. I will keep an eye on yours, but I have to close my MacBook before crashing ;-)...
All the same ones:
