Green Bee-eater

Merops orientalis

Description:

Looks a peculiar fluorescent yellowish-green in the photo...the third picture is of what the colour ACTUALLY looks like but is not the same spotting.

Habitat:

Near Thol Lake.

Notes:

I seem to remember it as normal green as in Little Green Bee-eater, Merops orientalis which I see at home too...so I just clicked a couple of shots...now I see it is of a different colour. Trick of light?

Thanks, Malcolm Wilton-Jones. I will update.

Indeed a trick of light or perhaps a white balance error by the camera or in the processing. You could try doing a white balance correction if you have a program to do it
I'm sure it is Little Green Bee-eater, Merops orientalis as you stated in the Notes.
