Rice Stink Bug

About 10mm long this little bug had a fairly plain but pitted surface and a smoky blue patch at the rear end (membranous wing tips?) Exploring grass heads.

Habitat:

Glenfern valley nature reserve.

Notes:

Thanks to Maniacval for genus. Species not officially recorded here before but known from northern Australia where rice is grown. Even the exposed membranous wing tips are documented. What would it feed on down here? The nearest rice is 500kms away. Introduced?
