Ornithospila bipunctata
A green Geometridae moth identified as Ornithospila bipunctata in http://www.mothsofborneo.com/part-9/geom... Wings and head are green, white antennae, legs and wings outline. Thin brown border before the white outline at the back edge of the wings. 4 brown dots on the furry wings, 2 wavy lines stretches across the back of the wings.
Kundasang highlands, Sabah, Malaysia.
A beautiful green moth which is one of the many moths that are attracted to the night lights of Aristo inn. >>>Map accuracy : 50m diameter.

Not very common here. During this 1 week trip in Kundasang, I could only spot about 5 individuals. At least it is more common here in the highlands than the lowlands. I am not sure how common they are in other parts of Malaysia.

I will try to take a photograph of it in it's natural habitat to show it camouflaging.

I believe each local spotters have their own amazing endemic moth collections from their area.
All these moth spottings in my page are spotted in Kundasang in 2009.
