I found your blog Andrea. i hope you don't mind if I shared the link with Zebulon for a similar spotiing - http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/188....
The correct ID for this is Heteroneda billardieri Crotch, i got this from a true entomologist working on this coccinellid, as I am not one.
Hello Andrea. Pls update your ID.
Thanks to Abigail and bayucca. I used this spotting to ID 2 more similar Philippine spottings. Thanks!!
At the moment i think it really looks like Heteroneda reticulata, I browsed based on your lead. Thank you so much Abigail and bayucca.
There are too many similar species of Heteroneda for me to choose one...H. reticulata does look the closest, but I'm not an expert in Pacific lady beetles. Good call, bayucca!
I believe you have the correct genus, bayucca! And I also don't think it is H. billardieri, it doesn't quite match the pattern, but must be something closely related.
I am now very careful with my ladybeetle suggestions, Abigail is watching me ;-)...
What about Heteroneda sp., I now some from Singapore which looks quite similar:

I don't think it is Billardieri, there is also Reticulata around. Just a very shy hint...
This definitely is not Harmonia axyridis (the Harlequin/Japanese/Asian lady beetle). I am researching it now!
