Description:

Form couples or family groups of 3 to 4 individuals. Sometimes they join in groups of 25 to 50 individuals in communal roosts, tall trees or mangroves. It is considered an endangered species due to habitat loss from deforestation and its indiscriminate hunting, this is because this species is highly prized as a pet.

Habitat:

Forests, either deciduous or evergreen, in Costa Rica.
