Argiope pulchella

Description:

Argiope pulchella is a species of Orb Spider belonging to the family Araneidae. It ranges from India to China and can be found on Java. It builds a web with a zig-zag stabilimentum. This species has a pentagonal opisthosoma (abdomen). The small spider tickling on her leg IV (shuddering) is a male. The last picture is Argyrodes flavescens; a kleptoparasite found on the same web.
