Description:

Small, fragile, reddish-brown mushroom with conic or bell-shaped cap; brownish stalk; attached gills, close to sub-distant. Exudes blood-like red liquid when cut, especially from stalk.

Habitat:

Grows on wood

Notes:

Notice how the "blood" from the stem stained my finger.
