Palm tree

Description:

An erect, slender stemmed, single trunk Palm that could grow up to 30 meters tall but normally trees are between 10-15 meters in height. Trunk is green when it is young and grey colored in old trees with prominent white leave scars. The leaves are lanceolate-shaped leaflets and about 30 to 50 long.

Habitat:

Palm trees habitats are in tropical, subtropical, and warm temperate climates. It is native to the coast of South America but some people say it is native to indo pacific. Palm trees grow in varieties of soil but the requirements are adequate sun, and water.
