this spider is locally known in my place as "king na lawa". I am from Surigao, Philippines..We have same spiders...

Same species as another spotting in the Philippines too.
Except that I don't think it is a Gasteracantha janopol because it does not match the description of Gasteracantha janopol written in "Riceland Spiders of South and Southeast Asia".

Remembers me of a Gasteracantha sp., but I am not sure if it is Gasteracantha arcuata, which is quite common.
