Great Blue Heron hunting gophers. We saw it capture and eat two gophers in 45 minutes. It had a large bulge in its throat from an earlier meal and it was hunting another gopher when we left. It's a wonder it could still fly!

Amazing series!
Thanks Arun. Watching this bird feed was a real treat. It's just too bad the weather was so dark and wet. It made for difficult photography.
