Many different kinds of trees cut down or started along this nature trail.
If continued, this amount of tree destruction will mean less bird life along the lake and marsh. The birds use the trees along this dike trail for roosting at day and night and as a vantage point for hunting the ducks on either side. This is the Katzie Nature trail at Pitt Lake between the marsh and the slough. westcoast temperate rainforest.
