Nice snake. This looks more like a Southern Pacific rattlesnake to me than a western diamondback.

I went ahead and removed the 1st two photos for you. The bloated body was too much and the kink / angle of the tail was very unnatural. The featured photo is acceptable and very good. Cool rattlesnake spotting! :)

I just found them on a hike...I think the first one was run over by a bike

Yeah the first two are of a dead body...the third is a young individual

Hi Xiaoxuan. Is the snake in the 1st two photos dead? It looks bloated and unnaturally positioned. Is there a story here? The 3rd photo is nice... perhaps that should be the main (or only) photo for this spotting.
