Cooper's Hawk

Accipiter cooperii

Habitat:

Suburban area on golf course

Notes:

This was a Maricopa lifer "Maricoper" for me. It is a small hawk and you can differenciate it from the Sharpie by its rounded off tail.

I used to see them all the time in the oak trees in the peaking lot at Baseline.

I don't see cooper's hawks at my house, at all anymore.
