May still be a rose. I have a couple of thornless and some with few hardly noticable thorns. It is another identifier like fragrance, petal count, etc. :)
Here is a description of "Blueberry Hill" so you can compare: Rosa 'Blueberry Hill' features unique pale lilac semidouble blooms that smother the plant's glossy dark green foliage early in the season and then continuously until fall. The flower fragrance is sweet apple.
It is a rose. The leaves are 3 to 5 leaflets with slight serrated margins. Tell me more about where you found it and I will try to get you a closer answer.

Blueberry Hill has some thorns. Here is a link to some heirloom roses that are thornless. Maybe it will shorten your search? http://www.heirloomroses.com/care/thornl...

It is a floribunda, as is the "Blueberry Hill" suggestion. Floribunda means many flowering. Scent is often used to identify a rose.
