Phrynosoma cornutum
baby horny toad
Hi again. I've moved the scientific name out of the common name field and into its proper place.
Nice find! Hatchlings are so tiny and hard to spot. As for the classification of this animal, this is why I don't care for the "horny toad" common name. It only serves to confuse people and caused you to place it in the Amphibians category instead of the proper Reptiles category. If you would kindly update your spotting when you have time, the other users of Project Noah will greatly benefit from the information. Thanks and again, nice spotting!
