Elephant

Elephas maximus

Description:

Largest terrestrial mammal. The Asian has smaller ears and different head. Sometime I heared somebody saying that the ears of African elephant looked like a map of Africa and the ears of the Asian looked like the map of India, I dont get confused since then, until I knew there are two African species.

Habitat:

Indian Forests and savannah
