Pseudoscorpion

Description:

I went to go feed my cat and these things were in his dish. Any clue what they could be? They were pretty small.

It's called "phoretic". Check out the wikipedia site about it.

I found one of these in Kentucky hitching a ride on a house fly. When I swatted the fly the Pseudoscorpion crawled off of it.

Looks like a Pseudoscorpion as it doesn't have a tail. Try BugGuide.com - this looks close to what you found: http://bugguide.net/node/view/93294
