Description:

A Tarantula species of Assam (India). It is about 3.5 cm long in its body length, very fast moving, having prominent palp and a pair of anal tubercle, body is mostly covered with hair like structure, Black in colour.

Gaurab with all the photos you offer us, it's not enough although I think is an immature female of grammostola pulchra ( or Brazilian black tarantula).

Argybee I don't know If you like spiders or what, but for me they are amazing creatures and, sorry, but i respect them a lot and I'm not afraid... I have been reading a lot, and like I said only few of them are dangerous for us. The spider bite can be infected, I agree, but like all the insects bites...no difference at all. I would like to make people less afraid about spider offering them the right info. Thank. P.s. for me the are cute!!!

What size is it? Where was it found? Do you have any lateral, ventral or dorsal shots of it? Eye pattern might indicate a 'ground' spider. Can't see palps or anal tubercules. Not much to go on with just this picture. We need more information if you really want some ID.

Large spider bites can hurt and get infected. Cute is very subjective.

And tarantulas are cute!!! There is only a few spices of arachnid wich can be dangerous ( recluse spider, funnel spider, black widow, hobo spider, mouse spider, wolf spider, huntsman spider, trap door spider)

It's a tarantula!!! The bite is not dangerous for us, just like a wasp bite...

Its okay but according to the expert of our university (Dibrugarh university) it is non poisonous, how we can confirm.
