i would say it is a Snowy Egret, is it correct?
that's right. As the Little Egret is in my Sibley guide as well, I assumed it was found there, thanks for your help.
Of course! They are nearly identical in looks, so just have to go off of range. There are quite a few other birds this is the case for as well!
If you check range maps, you will see that little egrets are not found in North America :) This is a snowy egret
Patty, Little Egrets also have yellow feet as I can see in my Sibley guide. Any other criteria to ID this one?
