Thnx. I saw some split open fruits ,the insides of which seemed like Almond. i did.n't see the Almond though. I will revisit and have a second look.
Could be almond Emma, I was going to say the leaf looked like Prunus but I'm really not familiar with what grows in your 'neck of the woods'
