Large white bird with magestic black tipped wings, and a huge orange beak for catching fish.
Bolsa Chica, Wetlands.
SE AZ Would be an awesome place to go, I lived in AZ till I was four. A year ago it was 30 degrees here in Claremont.
We moved north in '93 from Mira Loma. Sometimes I miss warm winters(okay, every year I miss warm winters - and normal length days). Someday I intend to check out SE AZ as a place to retire
Yeah, I like em too! when did you live here? I live in Claremont
When I left cali, the browns were just coming back after the DDT near extinction event. I've been seeing whites in Eugene Oregon and in the high desert in inland N california. Makes me wish I were back "home."
Really. I mostly see them at wetlands like Bolsa Chica. But that's strange.
INteresting... all the years I lived in the area(25+ years ago) I never saw anything other than browns.
Nice flight photos!
