Phasmid

Creoxylus sp

Description:

About 8cm long, cigar-shaped with cryptic colouration in pale and brown shades; some spiky protrusions on thorax. It wasn't in the least disturbed by my presence and continued munching away on that leaf as I took pictures.

Habitat:

Tropical rainforest in the Ecuadorian Amazon region.
