Leucoagaricus americanus
Photo take at my backyard this one grow by it self from grown big hat about 14 cm diameter all white whit some brown on top. about 7 cm tall.
Found in gardens and urban settings; North American distribution uncertain (I find online herbarium records of collections made in Michigan; the illustrated collection was made in Denver, in August) but perhaps to be expected in urban settings across the continent.
This certainly seems like it's a Lepiota, but Lepiota can be very hard to identify to species. Judging from the size (Lepiota Lilacea tends to be smaller than this), though, and color of the stem (Lepiota Lilacea has a pinkish to purplish stem with a dark underside), I don't think this is Lepiota Lilacea. I think the recently reclassified Leucoagaricus americanus (it used to be Lepiota Americana) is a more likely candidate.
I would say Lepiota Lilacea (www.mushroomexpert.com/lepiota_lilacea.h...)
