Description:

Crustose lichen. Thallus thin, grey to yellowish green, minutely granular with the granules turning to isidia. The sessile apothecia are flat or slightly convex, pale to dark red-brown. Margins usually persistent, sometimes pruinose. Pycnidia are pale pink to reddish-brown.

Habitat:

Widespread, generally on nutrient-rich bark. Spotted on the bark of a Holm oak at Parque Nacional de Monfrague
