Podoscypha petalodes
An attractive fungus about 35mm wide. The fungus appeared notched at the stipe and whirled out into a rosette. The whirls were a deep reddish brown becoming paler towards the margin which was wavy and lobed. The texture was leathery but paper-thin. Stipe looked ropey, narrow and leathery. The under surface was pale and smooth, showing concentric markings.
