White-winged becard

Pachyramphus polychopterus

Spotted in Maldonado, Uruguay, near a creek in the countryside. This is a male (the female is more brownish). The white-winged becard is a quiet bird that normally stays hidden, as it moves around the foliage between medium height and the tree tops.
