Cicindela sp.
About 13mm in length. Head, nota and elytra metallic blue and unmarked. Elytra do not quite cover the tip of the abdomen. Legs and antenna black.
Dirt trail in a deciduous forest.
Six-spotted Tiger Beetles are typical Green with white spots on the elytra. This one was a brilliant metallic blue. Spotted along Hackberry trail

That is the ID I got at BugGuide. The two you have linked are shown in western Nebraska. I will do some more research. Thank you for your input.
This is a tiger beetle, just not C. sexguttata. I suspect it is the second of these 2 links, but could be either depending on size.
