Triboniophorus graeffei
Common in SE Queensland around the greater Brisbane area. This native land slug is the largest species in Australia and it can can grow up to 14 cm long. In its native habitat of forests, woodlands and heaths it feeds on lichen and algae, although it has been known to enjoy bathroom mould. They are usually a creamy white colour with a distinguishing red triangle on their back, although their colour can vary. The slug in this image was found in an urban dry schlerophyll forest.
