For almost 2 months this moth has been unidentified. ID was found by gatorfellows. 1st photograph by dad. >>>Map accuracy : 50m diameter.
Its fascinating to see the minute differences between the two specimens. This looks so much like it was hand painted. Nice
Chun... Gatorfellows is accurate...

Thank you everyone.
I never thought that one of my moths will be featured.
I should have taken a better photo of it. : )
that's so cool that we finally have an ID, I've been dying to know what kind of moth this is. It's a great spotting! Thanks gatorfellows :)
The Wiki link shows it with more of a brownish cast: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ramadasa_pa...
Congratulations Chun, this fascinating moth has been chosen to represent Asia in the Project Noah blog today! http://blog.projectnoah.org/
Ok, I will visit that mission and see whether my spotting can be added into it.
Thanks, with that I will re-search www.mothsofborneo.com again.
Hopefully I will get a match.
Thank you Marta RubioTexeira and Chief RedEarth too.
Chief RedEarth, you have a great imagination, I think I can see the resemblance a bit.
