We found some very powerful car yard and school lights next to the national park. Walking the dog every night (especially warm northerlies) we seem to find new flappers sucked out of the forests. Is that cheating? The one we found last night actually flew but it had to rev up for a good 30 seconds. The dog really hates it on mothy nights.

Thanks Lauren. We found another one last night and I think I underestimated the size. They are really huge especially the abdomen.
