I based my Id on the fact that this was found near a fresh water source and am assuming that there was no mingling of salt water.
I am guessing the size too.

Hello good day, I found this plant and the bivalve in the area of Lake San Miguel de Allende, is a freshwater lake and the level varies according to the rainy season, the picture was taken during the dry season, when a part of the lake is dry, the plants that grow there, are small shrubs thirty inches high maximum.

Interesante.
