American white peligans (Pelecanus erythrorhynchos) visit Providence Lake in Brandon, Fla. almost daily. The lake attracts myriad species of birds such as these white peligans, sandhill cranes, great egrets, roseatte spoonbills, double-crested cormorants, mallards and anhingas.
