Buteo lineatus
The red-shouldered hawk has a reddish (cinnamon) head, shoulders, chest and belly. Wings and back are dark brown with white spots. Long tail with thin white bands and wide black bands. The female is same as male.
This red-shouldered hawk was spotted at Kinder Farm County Park. I go to this park often and this hawk seems to be a resident of the park.
