Marbled gecko

Description:

Small (young?) grey mottled gecko minus its tail.

Habitat:

Found at a market stall, this reptile may have traveled some distance and had an interaction with person or animal to lose its tail.

Notes:

We call it (her?) Kathy for the lady who spotted it =)

These geckos are the only species to occur in cold Melbourne and are supposedly fairly common yet this is the first and only one I've seen
