Carolina wren

Thryothorus ludovicianus

Description:

Habitat:

forest

Notes:

He must be looking for a new mate. He went through a repertoire of a half-dozen songs while perching all around our yard. I don't know if it is the same one who just finished with a group of hatchlings about 10 days ago - had a nest built in the rafter of our front porch.
