Description:

.50 inches (13 mm) - Yellow and black body with blue wings with white dots. Bulging eyes. The only common sharpshooter leafhopper in the Eastern USA. Sub-family Cicadellinae. Feeds on herbaceous plants.

Habitat:

Prefers meadow and fields in the spring and summer, but tree and shrubs in the fall.
