Arianta arbustorum
The total length of the snail is about 5-6 cm. The width of the shell is aprox 20-25 mm, and the height is aprox 10-20 mm.
Common all over Europe, and especially my garden is full of them.
They don't seem to do much damage to the garden, not yet anyway. The only unpleasant thing is that the crawl everywhere where they shouldn't be, so one can't help to accidently step on them or crush them when moving buckets, bags and stones around the garden.

Nice series.
Tomas, I think you are quite right. Thank you very much!
This might be Helix if it were really big, the colour is not very important - it can be brown or grey.
This looks like medium-sized snail - I would vote for Arianta arbustorum, it is quite common...
Love the shell design! Nice spotting! :)
That's a banded wood snail
Thank you, ShannaB and Sachin :)
