Chalybion bengalense
25mm long wasp with blue-green iridescence. Builds nests using mud and plant fiber where it lays eggs on captured spiders. The spiders are stung and the paralyzed spiders are eaten alive by the hatched larvae. In the last picture she is seen defending her brood from an intruder of the same species.
Spotted on an old brick wall.
